Welcome to FlashcardForge. These Terms of Use ('Terms') govern your access to and use of the FlashcardForge website, applications, and services (collectively, the 'Service').

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, creating an account, or using the Service in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to all of the terms and conditions, you may not access or use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By agreeing to these Terms, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

3. User Conduct

You are solely responsible for your conduct and any data, text, information, and content ('User Content') that you submit. You agree not to post User Content that:

Is illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, or promotes violence.
Is pornographic or obscene.
Infringes upon intellectual property rights.
Contains malicious code or viruses.
Constitutes spam or unsolicited advertising.
Maliciously alters decks after purchase ('bait and switch').

4. The Flashcard Exchange

Purchases: Buying a deck grants you a non-transferable personal license to access that specific version.

Updates: Creators may publish new versions. You retain access to your purchased version but may be offered upgrades.

5. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your content but grant FlashcardForge a license to use it in connection with the Service. All platform content (design, logos, software) belongs to FlashcardForge.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or harm the community.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED 'AS IS' WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
